Abstract

Implementation of decentralization and regional autonomy in Indonesia through Law no. 23 of 2014 aims to strengthen the management of government affairs at the regional level, with the hope of accelerating development and improving community welfare. In the digital era, information technology plays an important role in supporting a more efficient, transparent and accountable government. However, the implementation of digital government in the regions faces various challenges, such as limited infrastructure, lack of protected human resources, and inequality in access to technology between the center and regions. This research aims to implement the implementation of Law no. 23 of 2014 in the era of digital government, as well as analyzing existing obstacles and potential. The research results show that to maximize the benefits of digital government in supporting regional autonomy, efforts are needed to improve infrastructure, strengthen human resource capacity, and policies that support equitable digital transformation.
