Abstract

The beauty clinic industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly but there are many complaints about service quality and unethical business practices. This study examines legal protection for consumers from illegal practices in Samarinda, emphasizing clear regulations. The research explores the legal framework to ensure service quality, address legal liability, and promote ethical business practices. The Consumer Protection Law joins other regulations, hindering consumer protection. Beauty clinics without specific rules often harm customers. It is important to develop a strong legal framework for beauty clinic customers. There should be requirements for operational licenses, facility standards, practitioner qualifications, and supervision mechanisms. These regulations increase public trust in beauty services and support the beauty industry in Indonesia.
