This study investigates the juridical analysis of the single bar system under Indonesian Law No. 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates, in the backdrop of the nation's reform era since 1998. The reform aimed at overhauling legal systems and enforcement mechanisms, with special focus on the judiciary's power and the crucial role of advocates. The research method used is normative juridical which focuses on the assessment of applicable legal norms and their application in practice. The approaches used are statute approach and conceptual approach. This research aims to dissect the single bar system's alignment with constitutional rights and envisage an ideal future organizational framework for advocate associations in Indonesia.
