Drug abuse by police officers is a concerning phenomenon and poses a significant challenge in the effort to enforce the law in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the law enforcement process and legal accountability of police officers involved in drug abuse, based on Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics. Through a normative juridical approach and analysis of the applicable regulations and law enforcement practices, this study reveals the weaknesses of the system and provides recommendations to strengthen oversight mechanisms and law enforcement against drug abuse within the police force.
