become the retailer of choice for customers. Therefore, it is not uncommon for many companies to try to research promotions on customer satisfaction. This is because if customers are dissatisfied with the services that have been provided, then it is possible that
customers are not loyal to the company. Promotion is a marketing activity that is commonly carried out by marketers to provide information on a product and encourage consumers to purchase the product. In addition, good service can also support the success of promotions, so as to achieve customer satisfaction. There fore this study aims to find out in more detail about the Effect of Promotion and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction at Alfamart Palembang branch. This type of research is quantitative research, in which survey methods are used in this study using questionnaires or questionnaires to obtain more accurate data. The population in this study were all customers of the Palembang branch of Alfamart, with a sample of 80 customers that the researchers met during the research. The data collection technique was carried out by means of a questionnaire.
